It seems that every time Apple issues a new operating system, it gets harder and harder to locate your photos on your Mac.
Once, you could just right-click on a photo and click on 'Show in Finder'. Later you had to right-click on the photo and click on 'Show Referenced File in Finder'. Now, both those options have disappeared. After much trial and error, I have managed to find a way to locate the original photos.
