Dyspraxia sufferer Frederica Dewer scored 99.5 per cent in her A-Level English paper.
Dyspraxia is a condition which affects movement planning and co-ordination as result of brain messages being inaccurately transmitted to the body.
Frederica was given the low, predicted grade before she was diagnosed with the condition. After diagnosis, she was allowed to type her exam. She then attained the highest marks in the country.

A study led by Michael Seidman at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit has found a strong correlation between brain dominance and the ear used for phone conversations.
Previous research has shown that the right-hand side of the brain is dominant with creative people, logical people have a dominant left-hand side and the brain's hemispheres control opposite sides of the body.
About 95 per cent of the population are left-brain dominant and have their speech and language centre located in the left hemisphere. These people are more likely to use their right hand for writing and other everyday tasks.
Despite the fact that using that same dominant hand to hold a phone is illogical - as it prevents other activities including note taking - 70 per cent did so, even when there was no difference in their hearing.

Twitter has got a lot going for it, but one of the things that I find most frustrating about it is that I can't tweet using email.
There are a number of websites and programs that will help you with this, but I have found that the simplest way is to update Twitter from Facebook. This has the added advantage that you can update both your Twitter status and your Facebook Page with one email. Here's how to do it:
- First you need to create a Facebook Page which you can do by going to http://www.facebook.com/pages/create/
- Now go to your page by using Facebook as your page name (Settings > 'Use Facebook as:').
- Click on the 'Edit page' button and then on 'Edit Settings'.
- Now click on the mobile icon on the left sidebar and the email address for updating your Facebook Page will be revealed.
- Finally, go to http://www.facebook.com/twitter/ and click the 'Link to Twitter' button.
When you send an email, the complete update should be in the Subject and the Message should be left blank.

A new study suggests that the Victorians achieved so much because they were cleverer than us.
Reaction times - a reliable marker of general intelligence - have declined steadily since the Victorian era from about 183 milliseconds to 250ms in men, and from 187ms to 277ms in women.
The slowing of our reflexes points to a decrease in general intelligence equivalent to 1.23 IQ points per decade since the 1880s or about 14 IQ points overall.
Dr Michael Woodley, who led the study published in the Intelligence journal this month, identified the trend by comparing reaction times from trials conducted by Victorian scientists against those carried out in recent decades.
